R.I.P. Cleo
As Cleopatra Jones, Tamara Dobson was the baddest sistah to kick some butt this side of Pam Grier.
She was 6-foot-2, sultry and strong. She made me proud to be an amazon.
She died of multiple sclerosis this week at 59. She will be missed.

Oh Goodness! I grew up with her movies. Ironically I was googling her a couple of months ago to show my colleagues here in Switzerland, where I'm working, where the term "blaxploitation" came from.
Too soon. Didn't even know she had MS.

well, i'm not amazon (at least vertically), but that's a shame. Rest in Peace, Cleo! **raising the fist in the air**
It was her movies and others like it that began a lifetime of pride in me and later in my wife and children.
May she rest in peace.
